Homework is a luxury that we should not be able to afford.
Fun and relaxing is a necessity.
Stress is an unprofitable benefit.
Living is a compulsory activity.
Obviously someone forgot to inform the teachers and the school.
Of this, there is much evidence available. Analysing? Not much is needed.
Allow us to enter the world of holidays. Let's see. What homework do we have? If it was money, enough to fill Paris Hilton's most dear whims.
We really
do have tons of homework. Truckloads. Yep, and of course, that's not good enough for the teachers. Nope, not one bit. No, because we must work to our fullest full potential. Cos, you know, we're so
bright and we're the
best and all.
Yep, that's the mentality. What's important, let me remind everyone out there freaking over our workload, is
upholding the school honour. Yup, that's it. What's important, is winning prizes for the school, and showing that we are
number one. Cos number two doesn't do us justice. Not that there's anything really wrong with being second, just that well... it's...
second.
My holidays are always so free.
And sometimes when we complain to the teachers, they say that they have a lot of stuff to do to, marking and all.
Yeah, and whose fault it that?
And some teachers say that there's no choice, we have to do it, cos we can't not do it.
Yep, like Australian and American students don't have any time to do their own stuff, cos they're too busy trying to be the best. And some students are just as
sane as the teachers.
Let's count the number of days that we have to ourselves; for us, and us alone, to do the things that we wish to do. Homework will take up two days. CCA steals away another two or three. Projects, another two. Hmm. so... 7- (2+3+2)=0//
We should find a definition of holidays here. Ok, here it is, from dictionary.com: leisure time away from work devoted to rest or pleasure.
I rest my case.
